Information for Non UK Residents

If you live outside the UK and have no intention of becoming domiciled in the UK for the purpose of carrying out a surrogacy arrangement, then Surrogacy UK cannot accept you as a member. This is because unless you can apply for a Parental Order you would not be able to carry out a legal surrogacy arrangement in this country (please see legalities page for more information on this).

If you are not eligible to apply for a Parental Order then legally, it would not be classed as surrogacy and you would need to adopt the child. Adoption has completely different laws (for more information on this visit our adoption page).

Phone calls cannot be returned to non UK landlines and letters written in anything but English cannot be answered.
